Colourblind is a rising indie rock band out of Bozeman, Montana, blending jangly guitar tones, earnest lyrics, and melodic drive into a sound that feels both fresh and familiar. What started as a duo jamming covers in a college town garage quickly evolved into a full band project rooted in songwriting, connection, and a love for the records that shaped them.
Founding members Sam and Woody met as students and began writing together, leading to their first unofficial show—a packed DIY garage gig that drew in future drummer Cade from the crowd. Months later, the band met Louie, whose bass work completed their lineup and locked in their sound. Since then, Colourblind has been building momentum across Montana’s music scene, playing venues like the Tune Up, the Filling Station, and the Armory Music Hall. Their debut EP, released February 28th, is a testament to their evolution—introspective and energetic, tight yet unpolished in all the right ways.
