Lena Rich is an Americana singer-songwriter known for her expressive voice, poetic lyrics, and melodies that linger long after the music ends. Drawing from folk traditions but never bound by them, her songs explore connection, memory, and the quiet magic of everyday life. Her live shows offer a rare blend of intimacy and strength—equally at home in a quiet listening room or under the lights at a summer festival.
A graduate of Oberlin College & Conservatory, Lena designed her own interdisciplinary major in music composition, poetry, and performance. Her journey has taken her from festival stages (Red Ants Pants, Ossipee Valley) to a solo artist residency in Capitol Reef National Park. There, she spent a month in the Utah desert writing and recording a forthcoming album (set for release in fall 2025) in collaboration with Bozeman musicians and Juniper Sound in NYC. She’s opened for celebrated songwriters like Anaïs Mitchell and Antje Duvekot—and is quickly carving out a space as a distinctive voice in today’s folk landscape.
