Object is Bozeman’s own Ween tribute band, conjured from a legendary 2019 Halloween set that brought together some of the town’s finest musicians—and a whole lot of brown. Originally assembled by the late and dearly missed Joe Knapp, the band returns to the stage with love, irreverence, and deep musical chops to honor Ween’s weird and wonderful legacy. From the softest ballads to the most unhinged freakouts, Object covers all eras with affection and unfiltered energy.
Fronted by Tim Rooney (aka Dr. Rock) on vocals and guitar, the band features Adam Lee Crowson on bass and harmonies, Bill Hyland on lead guitar and background howls, Mike Koziel on keys, and Brett Goodell on drums. Together, they serve up a full-spectrum celebration of one of rock’s most bizarre and beloved bands—dedicated to the original vision of Joe Knapp and the fans who live for the brown note. This isn’t a cover band—it’s a sacred and slightly unhinged rite. Chocolate and Cheese not included.
